DialaRide Service
We have a fleet of accessible minibuses with a wonderful team of volunteer drivers who are DBS checked and are fully trained to be able to transport and secure any mobility equipment.
You can request to travel anywhere in mainland UK, we are not just for medical appointments. You can request shopping, social and other local trips or you can request for us to take you on holiday or away for the day. You can have escorts travelling with you for an extra fee of £1.00 per leg of the journey.
Our drivers are incredibly helpful and will help you from and to your door. Our drivers are very caring, but they are not carers.
Anyone who travels with us must be registered with our DAR scheme and there is an annual fee of £20.00 to join. Your registration is then valid for a full calendar year from your registration/renewal date.
Once registered you can start requesting trips straight away. Our trips are £1.50 per mile or part mile with a minimum mileage charge applied of two miles to all trips.
When making a trip request, we ask that you give us a maximum of 7 days’ notice and as close to it as you are able. This is because we schedule a week ahead. This also gives you the best chance of getting your request accommodated.

As part of your DAR registration, you can also access the use of our
VCS and our Shopper bus service.
